SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

Institutional Framework for Logistics Integrity

By placing an order on Varthub E-commerce Marketplace Ltd, founded and led by Samuel Uchendu, you agree to the following logistics and delivery terms. As a high-performance multi-vendor marketplace, shipping is facilitated through independent third-party logistics (3PL) partners and individual Vendor dispatch systems.

1. MULTI-VENDOR DISPATCH PROTOCOL

Because Varthub E-commerce Marketplace Ltd hosts multiple independent sellers, items in a single order may originate from different geographic coordinates.

Split Shipments: Items from different Vendors will be shipped separately to ensure maximum capital velocity and speed.

Tracking: You will receive a unique tracking ID or status update for each Vendor’s package.

Shipping Fees: Delivery charges are calculated per Vendor based on the weight, dimensions, and distance from the Vendor’s warehouse to your location.

2. DELIVERY TIMELINES

General Goods (Electronics, Fashion, etc.): Vendors are mandated to dispatch orders within 48–72 hours. Estimated delivery is 3–7 business days for interstate shipping and 1–3 business days for intrastate shipping.

Food & Perishables: These are "Instant Orders." Preparation begins immediately upon Vendor acceptance, with an estimated delivery time of 30–60 minutes.

3. DELIVERY ATTEMPTS & "NO-SHOW" RULES

General Goods: Our logistics partners will make a maximum of two (2) delivery attempts. If you are unreachable, the item will be returned to the Vendor. A refund will be issued to your Varthub Digital Wallet minus the original shipping fee and a 2.5% administrative fee.

Food & Perishables: Riders will wait at the delivery location for a maximum of ten (10) minutes. If you are unreachable, the order will be marked as "Delivered" and disposed of for health reasons. No refund will be issued to your Wallet in this scenario.

4. PROOF OF DELIVERY (THE OTP SYSTEM)

To ensure absolute security, a delivery is legally confirmed only when:

The Buyer provides the One-Time Password (OTP) to the logistics agent; OR

The Buyer signs the electronic proof of delivery.

The 7-Day Fidelity Guarantee (General Goods) or 2-Hour Reporting Window (Food) commences exactly at this confirmed timestamp.

5. SHIPPING COST REFUNDS

Vendor Error: If you receive a defective or incorrect item, a 100% Wallet Refund (including shipping costs) will be issued.

Buyer Change of Mind: If an item is returned for non-defective reasons, only the Product Cost is refunded to your Wallet. Original shipping fees are strictly non-refundable.
